Over here, a couple of well known ‘foodies’ have been lobbying parliament and badgering the supermarket chains to stop disposing of perfectly good food products as well as the idiotic practice of rejecting irregular shaped vegetables at source.
I totally agree with you, Jack. To treat people who are foraging for food as criminals is disgusting and those fat cats should try walking a mile in their shoes so they would get the picture.

Retirement, food waste, we’re in agreement on both issues. The March 2016 issue of National Geographic, had an article on food waste.
